Kaplan University offers training and certification at every level of education, from kindergarten through college. The university is organized into ten schools with different academic specialties.

Each student at Kaplan is assigned an advisor that will work with them and provide guidance throughout their education. Kaplan also offers options for students who already have college credit, but want to finish their degree. Students can transfer credits from other institutions, though at least 50% of courses for any Kaplan University degree must be taken through a Kaplan program.
